Football coaching programme
A 14-month programme for young people working towards their coaching badges, with funded qualifications, mentoring and paid coaching hours.
A real start in coaching
The programme was set up to tackle the lack of opportunities for young coaches once they have their qualifications. Courses teach the badges, but few give people the hours on the grass and the support to turn them into a career.
Successful candidates finish with the qualifications, knowledge and experience to work across sports-related pathways, and those with exceptional drive can be supported to set up their own football projects.
